About this race
The Charm Bracelet 100 is a point-to-point ultra starting at Dufton Methodist Chapel in the Cumbrian Pennines and finishing at Skinningrove Village Hall on the North Yorkshire coast. The route follows the Pennine Way out of Dufton before joining the Teesdale Way along the River Tees, then picks up the King Charles III England Coastal Path and finally the Cleveland Way for the last six miles into Skinningrove. Terrain is almost entirely off-road trail, crossing moorland, riverside paths and coastal cliff tops, with around 6,000 feet of elevation gain across the 104-mile course. Although much of the route trends downhill overall, there are sustained climbs early on in the Pennines. Ten checkpoints along the way offer hot food, cold food and snacks, and support runners are permitted after the second checkpoint, roughly 20 miles in. It is aimed at experienced ultra runners and walkers.
