About this race

The Charm Bracelet 50 follows the second half of the Charm Bracelet 100 route, starting at Croft-on-Tees Village Hall in County Durham and finishing at Skinningrove Village Hall on the North Yorkshire coast. The course picks up the Teesdale Way before joining the King Charles III England Coastal Path and finally the Cleveland Way for the closing miles into Skinningrove. Terrain is entirely off-road trail, running along riverside paths before reaching cliff-top coastal sections near the finish. With around 1,700 feet of elevation over the 50 miles, the route is undulating rather than genuinely hilly, making it a more approachable option than the full 104-mile event while still covering some of the same scenic coastline. Four checkpoints along the route provide hot food, cold food and snacks, and support runners are permitted throughout. It suits trail runners and walkers looking for a long-distance ultra without heavy climbing.
