About this race
The EnduranceLife Gower 10k starts and finishes at Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula, Britain's first officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The course is run entirely on coastal and countryside trail rather than road, crossing a demanding mix of grass, moorland, sand and rock as it follows the clifftop paths and dune systems around the bay. Runners take in some of the peninsula's best-known beaches and open downland along the way, with the terrain changing underfoot from firm grass to soft beach sand and rocky coastal sections. Despite being the shortest distance on offer, the course still carries a meaningful amount of climbing, making it a genuinely hilly trail race rather than a fast, flat 10k. Starting mid-morning after the longer distances have already set off, it is designed as an accessible introduction to Gower's coastal trail running for newer trail runners.
