About this race

The Leeds Abbey Dash 10K starts and finishes on Wellington Street in central Leeds. Runners head north-west out of the city along Kirkstall Road towards Kirkstall Abbey. The route passes the gothic ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, then turns back onto Abbey Road past the Abbey House Museum before rejoining Kirkstall Road for the run back into the city. The finish is back on Wellington Street, giving an out-and-back course on the same straight road for much of the distance. The course is on tarmac roads throughout, and the profile is flat, with a few gentle rises and falls on the way out that are repeated on the way back. The event is organised by Run For All, and the 2025 edition doubled as the England Athletics 10K Championships.
