About this race

The Thames Path Trail Run 21.8k starts on the Windsor riverside and follows the Thames Path west through Eton towards Boveney. The route passes Boveney Lock and loops around Dorney Rowing Lake, before continuing north-west towards Bray. It then turns back east along the Jubilee River, passing Dorney and Eton Wick and a large weir before returning to the finish. The route is flat, with only a few short rises, and is run mainly on dirt trails and riverside paths, with some paved sections. Highlights include views of the River Thames, the railway viaduct and the lock and weir. The organisers rate the course 2 out of 5 for difficulty. GPX files are available to download for the route. Trail running shoes are recommended for the route.
