Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon

The Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon starts and finishes at Hampton Court Palace in East Molesey, on the banks of the River Thames in south-west London. The multi-terrain course mixes palace gardens and grounds with riverside stretches along the Thames Path, on a surface of grass, gravel and towpath that is shared with pedestrians and cyclists. From the palace the route loops through the surrounding grounds and the Molesey riverside before heading north along the river towards Kingston upon Thames and Teddington, then returns along the Thames to the palace. The course is flat, with only a small amount of elevation gain over the whole distance, although the surfaces vary and paths are shared. Runners finish at the palace, where spectators can watch in the event village.
