Winter X 10k

The Winter X 10k is an out-and-back route starting and finishing at The Meon Hall in Meonstoke, Hampshire. It follows the North leg of the Winter X course, heading north out of the village along the old railway line towards West Meon. The route runs on the flat, level trackbed through the Meon Valley, then turns around at West Meon and retraces the same path back to the Meon Hall. A short link through Meonstoke connects the Meon Hall with the railway line at each end of the route. The surface is mostly well-trodden trail and path, with some short sections of road, and the profile is flat and steady throughout. The course is marked, and GPX files are provided. Runners set off individually, as there is no mass start, once a marshal sends them on their way.
