About this race
The Thames Path Trail Run 15.7k starts on the Windsor riverside and follows the Thames Path west through Eton towards Boveney. The route passes Boveney Lock and loops around Dorney Rowing Lake, then turns back east and joins the Jubilee River path near Dorney. It follows the Jubilee River east, past a large weir and through Eton Wick, before returning to the finish in Windsor. The route is flat, with only a few short rises, and is run mainly on dirt trails and riverside paths, with some paved sections. Highlights include views of the River Thames, the railway viaduct and the lock and weir. The organisers rate the course 2 out of 5 for difficulty. GPX files are available to download for the route. Trail running shoes are recommended for the route.
