Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon

The Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon is a single-lap, traffic-free course starting and finishing at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes. The route heads north from the lake past Willen and Tongwell, then west towards Wolverton, where it follows the Grand Union Canal. It then turns south through New Bradwell, Bradville and Bradwell, using the city's linear parks, before running across the southern side of Milton Keynes near Kiln Farm and Hazeley. From there the route turns back north-east towards Oakgrove and Brooklands, returning to Willen Lake via the linear parks on the eastern side of the city. The surface is mostly paved path with some firm trail, and the profile is flat apart from one short climb late in the race. The course is measured by AUCKM and holds a UKA licence.
