Maverick Suffolk Gravel Run 16k

The Maverick Suffolk Gravel Run 16k starts and finishes at Wantisden Hall, Woodbridge, in the Suffolk AONB. From the start the route heads north along a track beside the former airfield, then turns east across open farmland and south-east towards Chillesford. It then turns north-east into Tunstall Forest, where it loops along forest rides and tracks through the plantation before leaving the trees. A long, straight track leads south-west out of the forest and back towards Chillesford, before a final stretch west across fields returns to Wantisden. The surface is mostly sandy forest track and gravel, with a small amount of tarmac, and the profile is flat throughout. The course suits first-time trail runners and experienced runners alike, with easy and runnable trails through the woodland of the Suffolk AONB.
