Roly's Run 16mile

Roly's Run 15.5 miles starts and finishes at Swanmore Village Hall in Hampshire's Meon Valley and follows a clockwise circular route of roughly 80 percent trail. From Swanmore the course heads out over Beacon Hill, then on through Exton and Meonstoke, with the organisers also listing Droxford on the loop. Checkpoints are placed at the B3035 crossing, Lomer Farm and Meonstoke. The terrain is chalk paths, loose stones and tree roots, with some steep descents, and it can become tricky underfoot in wet weather. Runners can start anytime within a morning window, the course is marked, and walkers are welcome. It is the shortest of three distances sharing the same village hall base, alongside the 22 mile and 40 mile options, and it is chip timed with GPX files available.
